- Speaking of the Briscoe’s vs. ANX, ROH officials are very hesitant to revisit the Ladder War a 3rd time due to the potential hazards and the negative impression it may have on the new owners. ROH officials have been debating many different stipulations this match could have but nothing has been decided. Both teams want nothing more then to end this and move on to challenge for the ROH Tag Titles. - As announced yesterday (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/the-young-bucks-are-back-in-nyc/), “Death Before Dishonor IX” on September 17th will see the Young Bucks return to ROH to take on Future Shock (Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly) and the Bravado Brothers in a 3-Way Elimination Bout! The encounters between Cole & O’Reilly and The Bravados have gone down across the country, and now the Bucks will have their opportunity to exact some revenge on Lancelot & Harlem for what went down at “Best In The World 2011”.
- In exciting news, “Survival of the Fittest” will return before the end of the year according to ROH officials. Last year “Survival of the Fittest” saw “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards win the tournament to earn a future World Title match, and he capitalized on that opportunity at “Manhattan Mayhem IV” when Edwards shocked the world and pinned Roderick Strong’s shoulders to the mat to become the 15th ROH World Champion. This was one of the greatest moments in ROH history and “Survival of the Fittest” was the catalyst to that remarkable day.
- Ring of Honor officials will be having talks with TJ Perkins soon regarding future bookings.
- “Death Before Dishonor IX” on September 17th, 2011 is shaping up as another major ROH event and officials hope to have all the contracts finalized for the entire card by next week.
